Confirming Trend

The formulas used to determine a “confirmed trend” take the rate of change within the trend and then watch for a price deviation outside of that rate of change. Each asset and time frame operates differently and is automatically adjusted & updated here as the market moves.

In order to keep the identification from switching back and forth on small movements, additional measures have been taken to confirm a trend. The confirmed trend changes are rarely going to be exact bottoms or tops, this is by design as a trader would need additional analysis to enter a trade. Trading with Trend Analysis alone could be profitable but I highly recommend you do further analysis and use correct trade setups.
